1. Pretzels for Everyone
A year’s worth of Auntie Anne’s pretzels can be yours with
this special Golden Brown Card. In honor of National Auntie Day, Auntie Anne is
giving away three cards, which entitle the holder to a year's worth of
Original or Cinnamon Sugar Pretzels and Original Lemonade, plus one catering
order for up to 50 people. Also on National Auntie Day, all guests get a
Cinnamon Sugar or Original Pretzel with any pretzel item purchase. That still sounds like not enough pretzels.
2. Cheeky Rum Advertising
Water safety is an important topic, especially when mixing
it with alcohol in the summer months. Malibu has partnered with Olympic diver Tom
Daley for their Don't Drink and Dive campaign, encouraging customers to not mix
drinking with heat and swimming. To make sure we’re listening, Malibu put Daley
in heat-reactive swimwear that changes colors with temperature. Lucky fans in
the UK can enter to win the trunks and matching bucket hat. In the meantime,
eyes up here, buddy.
3. Space Champagne
Real champagne comes from France, but some of it has been to
space. Mumm Cordon Rouge sent a bottle of the booze into the cosmos in collaboration
with space technology experts and France's national space agency.
The champers, Mumm Cordon Rouge Stellar, was transported in
a custom-designed bottle featuring aerospace-grade materials and a zero-gravity
pouring mechanism, while the liquid itself was carefully adjusted to account
for the altered sensory perception experienced in microgravity. Soon, the
bottle will be opened and sampled, but it’s safe to say, regardless, that it is
out of this world.
4. One Tomatini, Please
We’ve always liked the combo of cold beer and pizza, but Papa
John’s is introducing a canned cocktail that just may change everything. The Tomatini
blends Papa’s signature tomato pizza sauce with basil vodka, thyme vermouth,
red wine syrup and citrus. Serving it in a glass with a spicy rim is recommended
for the best flavor, alongside a hot slice. In order to taste this concoction,
you must enter a drawing and win.
5. Donut Shoes
There’s nothing like a hot donut right off the Krispy Kreme
line, and there’s also something to be said for a fresh pair of Crocs. Combining
the two are these donut-themed clogs. The best part about them are the oversized
Jibbitz charms: a Krispy Kreme’s Original Glazed doughnut and signature Hot
Light. The shoe also features interchangeable icing-themed toe caps in
chocolate and strawberry with sprinkles. We’d like a dozen, please.
6. A New Definition of a Cocktail Pool
Those little Buzzballz cocktails always look so refreshing,
but a Buzzballz pool has been beyond our wildest dreams, until now. Buzzballz
has made a five-foot-tall inflatable pool that looks like its signature round bottle.
Also included is a pull-tab float, a ladder, a safety alarm and a cover. You
can get one at Pool.BuzzBallz.com. Catch us wasting away in
Buzzballz pool-ville.
7. Our Lips Are Saying Flavortown
In what can only be described as the collision of greatness, National
Lipstick Day is the same day as National Chicken Wing Day.
To celebrate, Revlon teamed up with Guy Fieri to launch a
limited-edition Flavortown shade of its Super Lustrous Glass Shine Lip Balm. The
color is reminiscent of Flavortown O.G. Buffalo Wing Sauce and comes with a
customizable sticker pack. Only available for Amazon Prime members through the Buy
with Prime button on Revlon's website, this is a VIP ticket to Flavortown that's very
off the hook, as Guy would say.
8. Goth Frostys
If you’ve been wondering what Wednesday Addams’ Wendy’s
order is, look no further than this woe-filled fast-food meal. The Wendy's x
Wednesday Meal of Misfortune includes a 10-piece chicken nugget labeled Rest in
10-Piece, a small order of Cursed & Crispy Fries and a dark cherry Raven’s
Blood Frosty, served with a themed Spoon of Gloom. Customers will also receive two
randomly selected Dips of Dread from four mystery sauces: You Can’t Hyde, This
Will Sting, Grave Mistake and Nowhere to Woe. All the items arrive in custom
packaging as a tie-in to season two of “Wednesday” on Netflix. Thankfully, Thing is not part of this collab.
9. Chainsaw Sammies
A chainsaw-sliced sandwich may be overkill, but we’re here
for the show. Liquid Death wants to "murder your thirst," so they’re
teaming up with Sheetz and serving up made-to-order, chainsaw-sliced sandwiches
at a mystery location for one day only. In addition to sandwiches cut with power
tools, there will be merch, including t-shirts, totes, safety goggles, aprons and chef towels via the SheetzShop. Band-Aids should have been on the list as
well.
10. Upside Down Cookies
Does this new cookie from Chips Ahoy! tell secrets about the
upcoming fifth and final season of “Stranger Things”? Featuring "a rich
chocolatey base, fudge chips, and a red strawberry-flavored filling — the first
fruit-filled variety from Chips Ahoy!" the red center represents Rifts, portals
to the Upside Down. There’s also an augmented reality game to “save the
cookies” and win prizes, including a guitar inspired by Eddie Munson. The real
question is if this cookie will bring back Barb.
11. Cheesy Pants
Giving the Dunkings tracksuit a run for its money, Cheez-It is
launching Cheez-Fitz, an apparel collab created in partnership with rising
basketball star Rickea Jackson and renowned stylist and fashion designer
Brittany Hampton. The streetwear has little flourishes inspired by the cheese
crackers, such as an on-brand color palette, square accents and scalloped edges.
With this fit, your alliance to your snack is unquestionable.
