I love a pack of lime White Claws as much as the next gal, but I have to admit that after solely having hard seltzers as my drink of choice all last summer, plus picking them up out of convenience and habit for quarantine happy hours, I’m a little burnt out on them. I know, I can’t believe it, either.
But when we’re packing up a cooler to bring to the beach, our options are a bit limited. You need something in a can, to both avoid the chance of breaking glass and for the convenience. You’re most likely going to go grab a 12-pack of your favorite lager and call it a day.
Luckily, there are some new brands out there that are going the way of low-cal, low-carb, low-sugar drinks to replace beer. Just as casual, not as bloat-y. Some new seltzers have hit the market that may scratch the itch, and other hard teas, spritzers and canned cocktails are out there to get a taste of something different.
Move the variety pack of White Claw aside once in a while and you might just find your new favorite beach drink.
