1. "Tron: Ares"
The "Tron" franchise continues to roll along after 40 years with
Jared Leto playing a super soldier named Ares who crosses over from the digital
world to the real world. The film comes to theaters this October.
2. "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" Season 2
Percy goes deeper into the world of gods, monsters and
myths in this adaptation of Rick Riordan’s book “The Sea of Monsters.” The season premieres on Disney+ in December.
3. "Five Nights at Freddy's 2"
It’s time to go back to the haunted pizza parlor. In this
sequel, Freddy and the gang are back for another junior-level horror movie with
the main cast from the first film returning. The film arrives in theaters in
December.
4. "The Long Walk"
Based on a 1979 novel by Stephen King, this dystopian
film is “Hunger Games”-esque with a group of men who set out to be the last one
standing on a long walk. The film comes out in September.
5. "Gen V" Season 2
A spinoff from “The Boys,” this series follows supes at a
supe school. The new dean (Hamish
Linklater) is training the supes to be soldiers, but a discovery could
bring everything down. The season premieres on Amazon Prime in September.
6. "Peacemaker" Season 2
After a small cameo in "Superman," John Cena’s Peacemaker is
trying to be a real hero while Rick Flagg Sr. is actively hunting him down. The
new season premieres on HBO Max this August.
7. "The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon" Season 3
Daryl and Carol are still in Europe, still fighting zombies
when the season starts. A new adventure takes them to Spain where dictators rule
and zombies lurk in the shadows. The new season starts on AMC this September.
8. "Spinal Tap II: The End Continues"
We’re getting the band back together, this time a fake
one from almost half a century ago. Spinal Tap reunites for a concert, but they’re
still a hot mess. Real rockers like Elton John and Paul McCartney have small
roles along with the original cast, and the film is set to hit theaters next month.
9. "Outlander" Season 8
"Outlander" concludes in 2026 with one last season. Jamie
and Claire are caught in the American Revolution, while time travel continues to
affect their lives. Old storylines wrap up while new characters will make their
entrance.
10. "The Vampire Lestat" Season 3
This teaser trailer shows Lestat living the life of a
rockstar in Season 3. It will be called "The Vampire Lestat," after the second novel in the
series, and will premiere on AMC in early 2026.
11. "The Strangers - Chapter 2"
Part of “The Strangers” film franchise, this film
explores psychological trauma as much as the physical when Maya seeks answers about
the masked killers from the last film. While this one comes to theaters in September, "Chapter Three" is already in the works.
12. "Spartacus: House of Ashur"
This winter, Starz will release a new chapter in the
Spartacus saga with Ashur still alive and now in a seat of power. New characters
will take center stage, including a female gladiator.
13. "Talamasca: The Secret Order"
In this AMC series, a man is tasked with keeping tabs on
supernatural creatures. The series is based on Anne Rice’s "The Vampire Chronicles" and will premiere
in October. It shares a universe with other shows like “Mayfair Witches” and “Interview
With a Vampire.”
14. "Star Trek: Starfleet Academy"
Holly Hunter leads the cast of this Paramount series, coming
next year, as the head of Starfleet Academy, where new recruits learn the
skills to boldly go where no one has gone before.
15. "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" Season 4
In this sneak peek, the prequel series is about to get
weird in Season 4 with the crew getting transformed into puppets for at least
one episode. As Season 3 just dropped on Paramount+, don’t expect this until
next summer.
16. "Hazbin Hotel" Season 2
Though this clip is only a tease of the second season, expect
the new installment of the series about the princess of Hell to drop on Prime Video
in October. It will also feature musical numbers, like the first season.
17. "Upload" Season 4
Prime Video teased a short clip of Season 4, the final season
of the comedy series about the digital afterlife. The season begins in August.
18. "Pluribus"
From the creators of “Breaking Bad” comes this new sci-fi
drama where the most miserable person on Earth must save the world from happiness. It will premiere on Apple TV+ in November.
19. "The Mighty Nein"
This Dungeons & Dragons-themed animated series is
adult in tone and not for kids, but will focus on an impending war between two
powers and the group of misfits who need to work together to save the realm. It will premiere on Prime Video in November.
20. "IT: Welcome to Derry"

of the two “It” films and how the town became so cursed. The series premieres
on HBO Max in October.
