Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's interview on March 7, Americans and Brits seem to be at odds on where they stand. Fans on this side of the pond seem to applaud the couple for their decision to stand up to the royal family, while a YouGov poll shows that Harry's popularity in the U.K. is the lowest it's ever been (48 percent). However, the majority of Brits between the ages of 18-24 still view the couple in a positive light.
What's most disappointing about this ordeal is the rift between Harry and his older brother, Prince William. They forged what appeared to be an intense bond following their mother's death, but in the last few years that bond has been tested. While leaving a school visit in East London yesterday, William was asked whether he'd been in touch with his brother. "No, I haven't spoken to him yet but I will do," he said.
No matter where they stand, it's safe to say that most people want the brothers to at least be on speaking terms again. Fighting with a sibling is tough and can cause emotional strain on other parts of one's life. If you couldn't tell already, we're a bit bummed out on the Wales' brothers behalf. So, we're just trying to give them a gentle nudge by reminding them of the good times.
