overhaul of such a classic ride.
4. New Missions and Timelines in Galaxy's Edge
There’s a disturbance in the force in Galaxy’s Edge. Starting
in Disneyland in April, the timeline has been expanded to include more Star
Wars eras. Roaming characters will now include Darth Vader, the Imperial
Stormtroopers, Leia Organa, Han Solo and Luke Skywalker in addition to Rey and the
Resistance. Music from the first six Star Wars films have also been added to
the park ambiance. Small changes around Batuu also include new names and
backstories for shops and new artifacts displayed inside. The Galaxy’s Edge at
Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World will stay the same for now.
Also, starting May 22nd, Millennium Falcon:
Smugglers Run in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World
will get a new mission starring The Mandalorian and Grogu, just in time for the
new film, “Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu.”
5. New Babies
There’s been a little bit of a baby boom at Disney’s Animal
Kingdom Theme Park in Walt Disney World. In 2026, there are new little ones
including a giraffe calf, an ankole cattle calf and red river hog piglets. Right
now, the animals are bonding with their moms but the babies hope to join their
respective groups in the Disney savanna this summer.
6. Soarin’ Over America
Get ready for a new takeoff as the Soarin’ ride celebrates
the 250th anniversary of the United States as part of “Disney
Celebrates America.” Debuting May 26 in EPCOT in Walt Disney World, Soarin' Across America will highlight the country’s natural landmarks like the Grand

sound and vibration effects. All these changes have made a more satisfying and
rewarding game and ride experience.
8. Bluey!
Is your toddler obsessed with "Bluey," the Australian kids' show? This March, a new Bluey show debuted at Disneyland Park
called “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” at the Fantasyland Theater. In the show, it’s a
fun fair day at Bluey’s school and she appears with sister Bingo along with comedic
performers and musicians to sing, dance and play games. The show runs
throughout the day.
Over in Walt Disney World in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme
Park, Bluety and Bingo will debut "Bluey's Wild World” on May 26 at
Conservation Station in Rafiki's Planet Watch. The experience will include

the new Walt Disney Studios Courtyard.
11. Frozen Ever After Animatronics
The Audio-Animatronics in EPCOT’s Frozen Ever After ride has been
a bit off since it opened due to the figures having projection-mapped faces
instead of traditional physical faces. All was corrected on February 12 when Anna
and Elsa got silicone skin faces with advanced mechanics. The result is expressive
three-dimensional faces rather than the flat faces of the past and a less
creepy vibe overall.

complete from Aerosmith to Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem band. The new
version features randomized songs for each vehicle, comprised of Electric
Mayhem covers of classic rock tunes with celebrity guests. The turnaround for

the brand new Walt Disney Studios courtyard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios in
Walt Disney World, replacing Animation Courtyard. Starting May 26, guests can
