In operation since 1912, the USPS's Operation Santa allows for people to adopt a letter written to "Santa" from those less fortunate and fulfill their wishes. This year, the requests are especially heart-rending due to COVID-19's impact. According to a letter obtained by People Magazine, one little boy asked for a specific game because "Most of these days in COVID, I feel really down in the dumps and that game will kinda be like my way to escape reality."
