1. Joaquin Phoenix as Joe Cross
Joaquin Phoenix will be playing Joe Cross, the sheriff of the fictional town. "Eddington" marks the second collaboration between Joaquin Phoenix and Ari Aster, with Phoenix playing the titular Beau in "Beau is Afraid." 2. Pedro Pascal as Ted Garcia
Pedro Pascal steps into the role of Ted Garcia, Eddington’s incumbent mayor fighting to stay in power during a chaotic re-election. Honestly, it might be easier to list where you haven't seen Pedro Pascal, as he seems to be in everything lately. But we aren't complaining! He is most recognizable for his roles as Joel Miller in "The Last of Us" (2023-2025), Din Djarin in "The Mandalorian" (2019-2023), Javier Peña in "Narcos" (2015-2017) and most recently, Harry Castillo in "Materialists" (2025).

4. Austin Butler as Vernon Jefferson Peak
Austin Butler transforms into Vernon Jefferson Peak, a radical cult leader whose presence adds a volatile twist to the town’s already fraying sense of order. His career has been gaining traction in recent years, especially since his Golden Globe win for portraying Elvis Presley in "Elvis" (2022). However, you may have also seen Butler as Tex Watson in "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" (2019) or as Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen in "Dune: Part Two" (2024).
5. Luke Grimes as Guy
Luke Grimes plays Guy, a member of the Eddington sheriff’s office. Grimes is best known for his role as Kayce Dutton in the hit TV western, "Yellowstone" (2018–2024), and has also appeared in "American Sniper" (2014) and the Fifty Shades franchise as Christian Grey’s brother, Elliot.
