Though we could all use a little laugh right now, April Fool's was mostly canceled by marketers this year. Big brands like Google, Amazon and McDonald’s have previously used the day for silly viral marketing stunts, but Google sent out memos canceling the annual event because they felt the current situation did not lend itself to jokes.
