Played by Jordan Fisher, John Ambrose serves as the \"grass is greener\" antagonist to lead Lara Jean (Lana Condor)’s new boyfriend, Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo). Now, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Fisher. He did both \"Grease\" and \"Rent\" live and has had recurring roles on a number of Disney and Nickelodeon shows. Plus, he’s played Philip Hamilton/John Laurens in the stage production of \"Hamilton\" and took over the titular role in \"Dear Evan Hansen\" on Broadway this year.
Still, this should probably be considered the 25-year-old’s “big break,” as the original Jenny Han adaptation was a huge success and the film places Fisher in front of a larger, more mainstream audience. And thank goodness for that, because have you seen this guy’s chiseled features?
