We already knew that Zac Efron can do no wrong. We even forgive his awkward Disney Channel phase because it brought him to where he is today -- which, right now, is Australia.
The actor has taken up residence down under since last year and doesn't seem too keen on returning to the U.S. anytime soon. He's reportedly been looking at properties to make Oceania his permanent home while enjoying time with his new girlfriend, Australia native Vanessa Valladares. The two met in Byron Bay last June, and Efron's been living the Aussie life ever since, putting his Los Feliz home up for sale back in December.
Consequently, Efron has been enjoying all the Australian spoils: sun, surf and -- oh yes -- baby kangaroos.
The actor shared a photo on his Instagram of him cuddling a little joey, and I'm hoping you don't judge when I say it's one of the most lovely things I've ever seen. And that's before you hone in on the Efron's biceps.
I mean, wouldn't you want to live in a place where having a hug with a kangaroo is just, like, a typical Wednesday?
...and enjoyed some R&R on the beach.
Efron's new digs make the perfect first stop for the second season of his Netflix series, "Down to Earth With Zac Efron," which sends the actor and his buddy, health guru and businessman Darin Olien, around the globe to learn about how different communities practice healthy habits and contribute to sustainability. Last season, they brought viewers along on such experiences like making ravioli in Sardinia, where the most centenarians (people who live to at least 100 years old) in the world reside; exploring a Costa Rican eco-village; and getting up close and personal to a renewable energy plant in Iceland.
The Californian teased earlier this month that season 2 was beginning production; how convenient that the new season started in Efron's new home?
His brother Dylan joined the kangaroo outing and dolphin excursion, and based on the younger Efron's own Instagram account, it looks like he may be along for the entire Australian episode -- he posted a photo similar to Zac's filming announcement at the same time as his big bro:
Two Efrons for the price of one? Should we be so lucky?
