Scamp the Tramp Is 2019's World's Ugliest Dog, but His Competition Was Fierce

Every year, the World's Ugliest Dog competition pits the derpy, hairless and snaggletoothed against each other to be crowned the most hideous. It's a good-natured contest, touting unmitigated love more than anything else, and the contestants are always terrifically charming despite their physical imperfections. This year, Scamp the Tramp, a rescue-turned-pet-therapist with untamable tufts of hair, won out over the 18 other competitors. "His body hair doesn't grow, but instead he's got these dreads that just happen naturally, and the top of his hair is gray and it just stands straight up," Scamp's human told Buzzfeed.
