Why You Should Cut Sugar From Your Diet

Many people don't think about the amount of sugar they consume on a daily basis. We have made it an integral, non-negotiable part of our diet, but we don’t stop to think about the health consequences it causes. Of course, sugar is naturally occurring in many fruits, but added sugar can cause your body to behave in ways that aren’t beneficial to your health. Added sugars can be found in processed and prepared foods like ice cream, cookies, candies and soda, as well as condiments, ketchup, pasta sauces and salad dressings. You don't have to entirely eliminate sugar from your diet, but it is beneficial to keep it at a minimum. Varying health groups have different guidelines for how much you should consume each day. However, they all believe that sugar has a place in a balanced diet. Here are some of the benefits you can experience by cutting out sugar.
