Do You Wear White After Labor Day?

I love my white jeans, and sure, they look better on a patio in the sun paired with a mimosa, but they're good for cooler months too! Not wearing white after Labor Day isn't a rule, really, it’s just what we’ve historically done out of habit. Before central AC existed, white clothing came out in the summer because it absorbs less heat. That, and if you could wear white at your beach house instead of donning work clothes in the city all summer, you must have been high society. So what gives now?
