This evening, the first presidential debate of the year will be held at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York. Viewers can watch the two leading presidential candidates square off on major issues, and most likely throw some passive-aggressive barbs across the aisle along the way.
The mudslinging, muckraking and downright name-calling can be entertaining, but it's tough to pick out the actual issues the candidates stand for amid the chaos. Here's a brief primer on where both Clinton and Trump stand on some significant issues--you can watch tonight to see how they weigh in!
Note: The debate will air tonight at 9p.m. EST on most major network and cable news stations. You can also livestream the debate via this link.
