Lady Gaga and Adam Driver have everyone in a tizzy as more and more photos come out of the two on set for "House of Gucci." The Oscar-nominated actors are on location in the Italian alps in character as Maurizio Gucci and Patrizia Reggiani, and while their style is on point, we can't help but envy their locale, as well: The film is hanging out at Gressoney-Saint-Jean, a tiny ski village in northern Italy just about 15 miles south from the iconic Matterhorn of the Swiss Alps.
The Italian part of the Alps are more often referred to as the Dolomites mountain range, but the beauty and splendor of these peaks aren't any less mesmerizing than their counterparts to the north and west. The Alps are spread across 1,200 miles, stretching across Italy and Switzerland as well as neighboring countries like Germany, Austria and France. With so much real estate to cover, there's no shortage of beautiful stays to hunker down in, from chalets tucked into mountainsides to sky-high getaways.
Here are some of the more wondrous stays we found in the Alps. Do a little skiing or just enjoy the views!
