Stargazing is something a lot of us take for granted. With light pollution growing bigger all the time, though, it's not every day that you can catch the Little Dipper or Jupiter shining away in the dark sky. If you want to really get up close and personal with the stars, you may have to make a trek.
Whether you lay out in the wilderness of a national park or go so far north that the light can't reach you, these remote, dark spots create ideal stargazing conditions so you and the stars can get on a first-name basis.
What's the coolest constellation you've ever picked out?
