Over the weekend, Netflix aficionados got a nice dose of escapism as they binged the new Lily Collins-led "Emily in Paris." From "Younger" and "Sex and the City" creator Darren Star, the show follows Emily Cooper (Collins) as she moves to Paris for work and juggles life and love in the City of Lights. The overall consensus is that despite its general insufferableness, the show is addicting and an ideal quarantine binge.
More than that, though, I think it's the setting of the show that has everyone in a tizzy. How perfectly melancholy that we're all watching a show set in a beautiful European city when travel is discouraged and the rest of the world outside our four walls is basically off limits.
*Le sigh*
So, to temper our travel craving, let's walk through the streets of Paris from behind our screens.
