Every season, "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" start off with dozens of eligible men and women looking for love at the Bachelor Mansion in Agoura Hills, Calif. But as the weeks go on, they're sent away on exotic trips, hoping a change of scenery could help foster a love connection. Plus, the lead travels to at least four different places with his final ladies for their hometown dates.
The past couple of seasons, however, couldn't do any of that. The Bachelor Mansion was a no-go, and with COVID-19 quarantine restrictions, the show has been forced to remain at one venue for the entirety of filming. As far as hometowns, now they're just bringing family to the resorts they're hanging out at.
On tomorrow's episode of "The Bachelor," Matt James will meet the families of his final four...at Nemacolin, which should be a blast. In honor of what could have been, we're looking back at some of the most perfect destinations Bachelor Nation has gone to -- and no, we're not talking about Cleveland.
