No One Is Here for the Week in Between Christmas and New Year's Day

It's understandable that many companies must remain open during the days that fall in between Christmas Day and New Year's Day. However, it's become common knowledge over the years that these days just don't exist. Why? Because they're the last remaining hours of the year in which we can indulge in food and drink without (at least in our minds) any consequences. It's also a perfect excuse to put off everything and anything until a fresh start in the new year, as people on Instagram have been sharing recently.
