1. Rings
A wedding band’s circular shape represents eternal love.
This tradition was said to start as far back as ancient Egypt. The fourth
finger on the left hand supposedly contains a vein connected to the heart
called "the vena amoris," or the vein of love. In Greece and Rome, it came
to symbolize fidelity and was associated with the bride’s dowry.
