1. Colorado National Monument
Colorado is known for its beautiful mountains and jagged peaks, all of which are spectacular. But in the southwest corner of the state, you'll find red rocks, desert-like vibes and landscapes that are drastically different and equally beautiful.
The Colorado National Monument (located near the city of Grand Junction) is simply gorgeous. The rock formations and colors alike are out of this world and worth the trip if you get the chance to visit. Plus, it's sunny there practically every day (except in the photo below), which is just an added bonus.
