He’ll cut you the deal of the year, loves hanging his head out the window during test drives and has the badge to prove it. Tucson, a stray-no-more who “works” for a Prime Hyundai dealership in Serra, Espírito Santo, Brazil, is quickly becoming an Instagram celebrity.
A few months ago, dealership manager Emerson Mariano noticed the pup hanging around the area with nowhere to go. After leaving the dog food and water for a few days, the store decided to take him in, and now he's the talk of the showroom!
According to Brazilian publication ES360, Mariano assumed Tucson was an abandoned house pet, as he’s witnessed more and more animals being turned away as Brazil deals with the financial fall-out from COVID-19.
But now, 1-ish-year-old Tucson is livin' large -- he sits in on staff meetings, greets guests and even plops himself at a desk whenever he sees fit. He also makes for a great car model for any prospective customer looking for a family-friendly vehicle.
According to The Mirror via Top Motors Brazil, Tucson is "very caring and docile" despite being forced to live on the streets, and his latest performance review went so well that he got promoted; the dog will soon star in a Brazilian ad campaign for Hyundai.
It’s only right -- this dog looks good in a bow-tie.
We give Tucson’s job performance an 11 out of 10.
