There’s a constant debate circling the country about when it’s acceptable to start preparing for Christmas. When do the decorations go up? When do you send your holiday cards out? Is it too soon to bring out the Michael Bublé Christmas album? (The answer is always no.) Truth is, it absolutely does not matter what holiday you’re celebrating in mid-November, so long as you’re celebrating at all. ‘Tis the season and all that. If your play is to give Thanksgiving all the recognition it deserves, though, the best place to do that is, obviously, New England.
This is where it all started! So, naturally, New England goes hard when it comes to the prelude to the day we’ll eat in our sweatpants and fall asleep in front of a football game.
