You may be surprised to discover that Rockefeller Center’s iconic Christmas tree isn’t as tall as you might think. This year’s pine stands at 77 feet; the tree’s been an institution outside 30 Rock since 1933, and you can’t beat the grandeur. The tree famously gets donated every year as lumber to build houses for Habitat for Humanity.
