Greenwich Village’s Comedy Cellar is one of the hottest comedy venues in the city right now, and they’ll make sure you enjoy your New Year’s without becoming prey to an antsy crowd -- or going broke! Their ticket prices are pretty reasonable, and they run enough showings that you can probably land a spot in the door if you’re planning ahead enough. After the acts, you can ring in 2020 with a deejay and dance party -- the way it should be done. And if this venue doesn't work out, throw a stone and you’ll find another New York City comedy show to go to.
