Separate Hotels
Kensington Palace confirmed that on May 18, Meghan and her mother will stay at Cliveden House, about 10 miles from Windsor Castle.
Roughly 9 miles in the other direction from the castle sits Coworth Park Hotel, where Harry -- who has competed in many a tournament on the property's polo fields -- will spend the night.
Both properties are rich in history; Coworth Park dates back to 1776 and was owned by various British aristocrats until the Dorchester Collection opened it as a luxury country house and spa in 2010.
Cliveden House’s history began in 1666 when it was built for the 2nd Duke of Buckingham. After two fired destroyed the property, it was rebuilt in 1851, and has since welcomed everyone from George I and Winston Churchill to The Beatles.
