Chris Hemsworth may be Thor himself, but it's the missus we should be paying attention to. Hemsworth's wife, Elsa Pataky, is a fitness force to be reckoned with -- the model and actress' (she plays Elena Neves in the "Fast and Furious" franchise) workout regimen is no joke.
Take this Instagram clip, for example. Pataky shared a moment from one of her workouts where she throws her weight behind a heavy push sled and sends it careening down the room, nearly running over her husband.
My muscles are screaming just watching this.
Pataky has created a space for herself in the fitness and wellness industry, sparking a little bit of friendly competition with her husband on who knows more about keeping the body in tip-top shape. "He is so much into it, he reads so much...And we're very competitive. If I'm like, 'I've read this and...' then he's like, 'Well I've read that...!' Or, 'Well, I've tried this'. And we love it," she told Australian site Body + Soul.
Taking all of that research and self-experience, she published a book, "Strong: How to Eat, Move and Live With Strength and Vitality," in Australia in 2019 (a similar version had previously been put out in Spain), full of nutrition and training guidance plus advice for working out at home.
This isn't just your random influencer talking, though: Pataky has had a passion for health and fitness since she was young, and she puts her money where her mouth is as far as exercise advice, evident all over her Instagram, including her content for the health and fitness app she created with Hemsworth, Centr.
Strong is sexy, people!
