1. The clothes of the new millennium looked like they were designed by the Y2K bug.
Our looks were inspired by the burgeoning digital age -- metallic fabrics, rhinestones and lots of shine. Tops were crop, halter, handkerchief and made of shiny, bedazzled fabrics. Bottoms were the same, including satin-y pants, “fancy” jeans and sequins and embroidery on
everything. Don’t forget to accessorize with giant hoop earings and squared
sunglasses in a pastel hue.
