To put it lightly, "To All the Boys I've Loved Before" is taking the streaming world by storm. The film has a 96 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes having been released less than a month ago, and talks of a sequel are already in the works. TL;DR: It's a great effing movie. We know this. But are we all just ignoring the fact that TABILB is basically a remake of 1999's classic rom-com "Drive Me Crazy"? Who could forget Melissa Joan Hart and boy-next-door Adrian Grenier getting lost in the politics of adolescent relationships as they prepare for their high school's centennial celebration? I, for one, have not.
I've found more than a few similarities between the two films, and I am positively delighted to share them with you now.
