Remember last year when Starbucks released the Unicorn Frappuccino and people lost their GD minds? Starbucks locations across the nation quickly sold out of the ingredients needed to make the limited-edition drink, and the reviews weren't even that great. Then around Halloween the Zombie Frappuccino was released, followed closely by the Christmas Tree Frappuccino that barely appeared on my Instagram feed.
Business Insider first reported that for a limited time (March 22-25) Starbucks will feature the Crystal Ball Frappuccino. The coffee-less beverage consists of a teal-colored "peach crème" base that is blended with ice, then topped with whipped cream and sprinkled with rock candy. Fans, however, are not amused, claiming that the Seattle-based coffee company has jumped the shark. And where do tech-savvy customers go to complain? Twitter, of course! It should also be mentioned that no one below has actually tasted the new drink.
