This morning, Reynolds tweeted out a new commercial that his production company Maximum Effort (a title likely sourced from Reynolds' "Deadpool" character) made for Match.com. And while you may hear a familiar Swift tune in the background, it's so much more than you think.
First of all, let's see this commercial.
It features the beginnings of a beautiful relationship between the Devil and the year 2020. It begins 11 months ago in Satan's lair, where he gets a notification from Match about a new pairing. He meets his potential lover, 2020, and we cut to a montage of the couple's love affair: picnicking in an empty football stadium, stealing stores of toilet paper and going on movie dates, theater all to themselves. The selfie with the dumpster fire is my favorite part.
It's not a match made in heaven, but a match made in Hell.
