1. "Aquaman"
Though Iceland stood in for Aquaman’s Massachusetts home of
Amnesty Bay in "Justice League," the Gold Coast of Queensland, Australia is the
location in Arthur Curry’s standalone film. In New South Wales, the crew built
a lighthouse on Hastings Point, where whale watching, beach combing and fishing
are the main attractions. Production moved to Currumbin Beach, which stood in
for Casablanca. Currumbin is known for its bustling scene, complete with people
watching, lively cafes and surfing.
