What to do when you live in the city and it’s 90-plus degrees out? Especially in humid parts of the country like the East Coast, hot days can make you feel like you’re swimming through the air when you’re just trying to run some errands.
A lot of city dwellers don’t have air-conditioned cars to travel in, nor do their apartments have central AC. Beaches are typically few and far between in metro areas, and backyard pools are unheard of unless you venture into the suburbs. So besides holing up in your apartment in front of the fan for days -- aka what I’ve been doing this weekend -- what options do we have when we’re stuck in the city during those particularly nasty summer days?
