Blast them with a hair dryer and then buff out with a bit of olive oil -- and put your coasters front and center.
Store sheet sets inside a matching pillowcase. Next time you need to pull down a set from the top shelf, you won't have folded sheets tumbling everywhere.
Slip one over each blade of your ceiling fan to dust without jumping on a ladder.
New strategy: wrap microfiber towels around a pair of kitchen tongs and gently latch onto each blind slat. It'll pick up all the dust from both sides.
Grab a toothbrush (but not the one you use every morning) and toothpaste and scrub at the rubber soles. Voilà!
Sprinkle it with salt, cut a lemon in half and scrub it acid-side down to remove stains and smells.
So keep them that way! Buff out any dull pots or pans with your standard red ketchup.
But take some unshelled walnuts to your wood pieces to buff out any scuffs and scratches.
Gently rub a textured scrub sponge over the fabric to get them soft and smooth again.
But then you'll reveal those unsightly impressions in the carpet. Line the dents with ice cubes to get them back in shape.
But soaking your silverware in lemon juice overnight will lift any stubborn rust stains.
Don a damp rubber dishwashing glove and start patting down your cushions. And maybe give the pets a brush every now and then.
