In today's weird news where we seriously cannot believe how strange some people are -- someone in Canada just stole a sh*t ton of blueberries. And by sh*t ton, I mean $100,000 worth of blueberries and a few other fruits. What is with Canadians and their fruit fetishes?
The blueberry bandit took the fruit from a commercial refrigeration truck in Hamilton, Ontario on Feb. 5. According to the news release by the Hamilton Police Department, the truck has since been recovered but the trailer and large quantity of blueberries is still missing.
To be completely honest, as strange as this is I would probably steal some blueberries if I could. Yea, that is a crime but blueberries are delicious. Just like I can totally understand why someone would steal $22k worth of Nutella, I can understand why someone would want all of those little blue berries of love to themselves.
