1. 230 FIFTH, New York
Manhattan’s 230 FIFTH is an experience any time of year -- the rooftop features a nearly 360-degree view of Midtown with the Empire State Building front and center -- but the igloos amp it up. One of the first rooftop bars to introduce heated domes, their philosophy calls for no reservations; they want guests to share the igloos and chat up some fresh faces. If you’re stuck waiting for a seat, no worries -- you can warm up with snacks, specialty cocktails and their cute red Snuggie-style robes. Available through May.
