It seems like everyone is getting the invite to Richard Madden's Scotland hideaway except for us!
"Crazy Rich Asians" actress Gemma Chan and "Mamma Mia!" actor Dominic Cooper recently had a bit of staycation at the Scottish manor Madden's been staying at, and now, another "Mamma Mia!" alum has joined the party. Lily James met up with her old pal Madden, who emphatically celebrated her arrival on Instagram. James followed suit, because they're equally adorable.
You'll remember that after Robb Stark was...ejected (we'll be gentle to the fans) from "Game of Thrones," Madden went from one extreme to the other: From the bloody battles of the seven kingdoms, he made his way to the one kingdom of Disney's "Cinderella." The first of the studio's surge of live-action remakes of the beloved classics commissioned by Disney over the past few years, "Cinderella" aptly cast Madden as their Prince Charming opposite James' Ella.
Let's just say that these two walk a mean red carpet together.
The co-stars also met up the year later, in 2016, for director Kenneth Branagh's "Romeo & Juliet" in London's West End. They again played the titular star-crossed lovers opposite each other.
(This circle is smaller than we think. Madden co-starred with Emilia Clarke on "Game of Thrones," whom Coleman played opposite as Clarke's sister in "Me Before You." Coleman was also in "Captain America: The First Avenger," albeit in a small role, which put Evans on the map as our beloved Cap. The more ya know!)
Speaking of Emilia Clarke, Madden was reportedly holed up in her rented Los Angeles apartment with a friend, according to the Daily Mail, for some time before moving on to a country estate in Scotland, where he's apparently been intermittently hosting some close friends.
Hmm, now to decide if we should watch "Game of Thrones," "Cinderella" or "Mamma Mia 2" tonight...
