Netflix tweeted out a hot take last night: "Regina Hall has done as much for the scary movie genre as Jamie Lee Curtis has...but some of you aren't ready to have that conversation." Phew! We all know Curtis shot to fame as Laurie Strode via the Michael Myers "Halloween" franchise (which she reprised in 2018's reboot film), but Hall shot to fame as Brenda Meeks via the "Scary Movie" franchise. Sure, it's a spoof series versus a legitimate horror series, but still! Let's start giving credit where it's due, starting with this memory match.
