In case you haven't noticed, we take famous pets very seriously here. We're on a first-name basis with Dodger, Meredith & Olivia and Paul, and if you don't know who we're talking about, well, you're missing out.
So imagine our excitement when Reese Witherspoon showed off her new puppy, Minnie Pearl, on Instagram earlier this month. Minnie is a black and white French bulldog and fits in quite nicely with her brothers Hank and Lou.
Witherspoon also introduced Minnie Pearl via TikTok in proper fashion, using a sound on the app that fit perfectly:

So, she knows how to stick to TikTok trends. Which is why when I saw this photo today, I was very excited (beyond my initial 10-minute stare session, because how cute?).
Why? Because over the summer, a TikTok trend emerged using the song "Hood Baby" by KBFR, using the music video as inspo: users lip-synced to the song while their dogs looked at the camera on the beat.
"Hood dog baby"..."Hood Baby"...it's right there.
Witherspoon knows what we're waiting for -- she even reposted the photo on her Instagram Story with "Hood Baby" playing in the background. C'mon, Reese, give us the goods!
Excuse me while I stalk Reese's TikTok until she gives the people what they want.
