Red Flags: Vacation Rental Edition

Whether you’re booking a hotel or a more spacious, privately owned home for your next vacation, it can be easy to get swept into some gorgeous photography and fluffy descriptions. But not every vacation rental is truly what it seems. Before you press “Book Now," there are some red flags to be aware of. The last thing you want is to be scammed out of hundreds or even thousands of dollars, or show up to lodgings that are dirty or unsafe. Here are some common indicators of less-than-ideal or even scam vacation rentals.
