I never thought I'd say it, but the pumpkin spice trend has officially gone too far. Why, you ask? Because pumpkin spice French fries are now a thing. Sure, I love a good PSL as much as the next girl. Pumpkin spice donuts, Oreo's and even pretzels are my jam. But fries? FRIES???? Come on, people. If it's not broken then don't fix it.
Later this month, McDonald's Japan is rolling out the ultimate fall fast food in honor of Halloween, affectionately called the "Halloween Choco Potato." Apparently this sweet and salty treat, which is essentially normal fries drizzled with pumpkin spiced sauce and chocolate, has been a hit in recent years. Unfortunately, this creation isn't available in the U.S. yet (even though I would totally try it if it were, let's be honest).
Those of you making the trip to Japan in the coming weeks, you can get your hands on these PSFs (pumpkin spiced fries, get it?) from Sept. 28 - Oct. 31.
