The anniversary of Diana, Princess of Wales' death happens later this month, which means documentaries about her life are popping up here, there and everywhere. ABC and People Magazine collaborated on a two-night special, "The Story of Diana," set to premiere Aug. 9. Stateside networks NatGeo, PBS, Smithsonian and TLC have documentaries scheduled for the days leading up to the Aug. 31 anniversary. None, however, include an assessment of Catherine by body behavior analyst Judi James, who told U.K. paper, the Daily Star, that the future consort plays "mediator" to Prince William and Prince Harry whenever they discuss their mom.
James has watched videos of the boys talking about their mother, noting that Harry still appeared to be the "grieving small boy" he was when Diana died in 1997.
"Harry’s responses when he speaks of his mother do sadly look intense and childlike," James said. "Harry had no family roles apart from grieving small boy and he still hasn’t, meaning his responses might have changed less with time."
James has studied the princes' body language, as well as that of Catherine
"It’s telling that they have sat in discussion for the cameras with Kate acting as mediator. She seems to adapt to the maternal role with them very well and this might have been an unexpected bonus in William’s marriage."
Adding to James' point are the alleged "visits" Diana has paid Pennsylvania-born psychic twins, Linda and Terry Jamison. The twins famously predicted both the 9/11 terrorist attacks and the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, and have stated publicly that Diana has told them she often visits Catherine in her dreams.
"I can tell that Will and Kate and the babies sense my energy when I am around," the twins claim Diana told them. "I visit them in their dreams as well."
