There's another royal wedding to look forward to! The Duke and Duchess of York (Andrew and Fergie) released a statement today via Buckingham Palace that their oldest daughter is engaged to 36-year old Italian property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. "Edo," as the family calls him, proposed to the princess in Italy, where the photo was taken by Beatrice's sister, Princess Eugenie. Since all three (as well as Harry and Meghan) were at the Rome nuptials of designer Misha Nonoo to Michael Hess last weekend, it's safe to say that the engagement happened during the same trip.
The couple plan to tie the knot in 2020, likely in the spring and likely at St. George's Chapel, following in the footsteps of her sister, Eugenie, and cousin, Prince Harry (though a Westminster Abbey wedding wouldn't surprise me). However, I can see Bea picking St. George's Chapel because she grew up nearby.
