The Internet (and I) Are Obsessed With This Overpriced Pink Pineapple

We're well aware of this generation's obsession with the color pink. I, myself, have fallen prey over and over again to pretty, sparkly, pink things. But I think I can confidently say that I wouldn't pay $49 (plus shipping!) for a pink, crown-less pineapple. Nevertheless, Del Monte is hoping they have the marketing tools for others to do just that. The exclusive pinkglow pineapple, created by adding a natural pigment called lycopene to the fruit, has social media feeling fancy AF. And, I mean, we can't blame them -- it's really pretty.
