Pink clay is taking over Instagram with its pretty pink color, but this pampering product is a must-have for dry or sensitive skin. Green clay is known for pulling toxins and
oils out of skin -- great for deep cleaning, but not great for all skin types.
Pink clay, however, doesn’t strip the skin of natural oils. Plus, the two types of pink clay each have their own benefits for skin.
First, there is Australian clay, which is a blend of white and red kaolin. It infuses the skin with minerals like silica,
magnesium, selenium and zinc. These help with elasticity and cell renewal,
reduce inflammation and promote healing.
Next is French pink clay. It is rich in iron, illite, montmorillonite and calcite. Illite clears congested pores, montmorillonite gently absorbs excess oil and calcite, a crystal, gently exfoliates.
These products make pink clay the star of the show. See which is best for your unique skin care needs and treat yourself to a lovely mask break!
