Packing for Vacation Shouldn't Be as Hard as We Make it For Ourselves, Yet Here We Are

A study by OnePoll and Trunk Club recently found that 65 percent of Americans are absolutely plagued by vacation stress just from packing their luggage. Vacation is supposed to be fun and stress-free -- why are so many people riddled with anxiety?! Well, when a third of them are waiting until 24 hours before the trip to pack (which they are), it doesn’t bode well for the nerves. The 2,000-person survey found that a quarter of items packed go unused, 60 percent of responders end up needing to buy something while on the trip and the only thing more stressful than packing is going through airport security. Then there’s the girl that wore nine pounds of clothes to avoid heavy luggage feeds. How do you measure up to those surveyed when it comes to packing?
