1. “Gifted”
Chris Evans stepped out of his Captain America suit for this drama about raising a child prodigy. Standout kid actor Mckenna Grace (you’ll recognize her as young Tonya Harding in “I, Tonya”) is spunky as 7-year-old Mary, whose mother took her own life when Mary was an infant, leaving her in the care of her Uncle Frank (Evans). When Mary’s genius start to present, Frank’s mother steps in to attempt to enroll Mary in an upper-level, prestigious school, to Frank’s dissent. The relationship between Frank and Mary throughout the entire film displays a devotion that’ll warm your heart right up.
