Most of us are dealing with the news of Michael B. Jordan being off the market, well, not well. The longtime bachelor dropped a photo on Instagram last night of him and model Lori Harvey looking very cuddly and close, making their romance as official as it gets these days. Single gals the world over are likely in mourning -- Jordan is one hot commodity, so the prospect of his settling down is vaguely depressing.
Harvey went ahead and shared her own couply Instagram post, revealing Polaroid photos of her and her man looking very sweet together. According to TMZ and The Sun, they were first seen together in Atlanta just before Thanksgiving and then spent New Year’s together in Salt Lake City. The two share a near-10-year age difference, but hey, when Michael B. Jordan comes calling, you answer that phone.
It was just a couple of months ago that Jordan was named People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2020, claiming the title he should have earned three times over by now. While he was on his celebratory press tour, though, he and Jimmy Kimmel engaged in a back-and-forth that, now, feels odd to listen to.
If you keep up with the man’s Instagram account (which, you really should), you’ll notice that Jordan went on quite the facial hair journey over quarantine. Like so many other men, Hollywood and beyond, the “Just Mercy” star used the time at home, without any official appearances to make or character profiles to abide with, to play around with his mustache-growing ability; his whiskers got so thick, at one point, that he was nearly unrecognizable. By the time the People cover came out, though, the ‘stach was trimmed down to an acceptable length.
Although, let’s call a spade a spade: He can rock it no matter what.
Naturally, Kimmel called it out on his show, and Jordan, in late-night show fashion, bantered back.
"That’s beyond Steve Harvey-level mustache," Kimmel commented, to which Jordan responded, "Yes, I actually -- I want to challenge him to a mustache-off."
This feels like a good time to overtly point out that Lori, Jordan’s new girlfriend, is Steve Harvey’s youngest daughter, whom he adopted along with her two siblings after marrying their mother, Marjorie Bridges, in 2007. And that this interview happened in mid-November, just around the time Jordan and Lori reportedly started spending time together.
Kimmel -- you made it weird, bro!
Journalist Ashley Spencer called out the exchange on Twitter, pointing out that the "Family Feud" host may have some investigating to do, and other users suddenly saw quite the...resemblance.
I mean, they do say we date our fathers...right?
