Along with most every parent of a school-aged child in America right now, Max Greenfield ("The Neighborhood," "New Girl") is teaching his 10-year-old daughter Lilly, whom he shares with FOX Entertainment Casting Executive Tess Sanchez, things like decimal math and singular and plural possessive nouns. Things are going...well, given the circumstances, but Greenfield has kept us all in the loop of his and Lilly's progress with near-daily Instagram clips from inside their "classroom."
"It's going really well, and I think that's one of the reasons why we're able to really have fun and make these videos and have fun with the whole thing, because we're enjoying ourselves and it breaks up the day," Greenfield told Entertainment Tonight. "I don't know that I'm at the place where I know what I've learned yet. I'm still sort of figuring that out. I think we're at the beginning of a lengthy journey, and I guess we'll see where we end up."
To say that Greenfield has a firecracker on his hands would be an understatement, but these little glimpses into homeschool life, especially that of a celeb dad, are all too comforting to everyday parents out there dealing with the same stuff.
"We were so abruptly thrown into this situation, and the task of having to be my daughter's teacher was so overwhelming that it immediately was hilarious," he said. "I think as a coping mechanism for both of us, I've been documenting this."
