One of the most iconic episodes of the '90s sitcom "Friends" involves Rachel being in charge of the Thanksgiving dessert. She attempts to make a "traditional English trifle," but instead makes a mess of whipped cream (good), bananas (good), lady fingers (still good) and sautéed meat (sooooo not good).
If you've ever seen literally any episode of "Friends," you know that Joey is known for his love of food and his ability to eat otherworldly amounts of it. The dude keeps an emergency sandwich in his shower, for crying out loud. So it should come as no surprise that in the episode, Joey has no qualms about eating Rachel's flubbed dish.
During a recent appearance on "The Graham Norton Show," Matt LeBlanc revealed that although the substance the cast was forced to eat was really just whipped cream and bananas, the 50-year-old actor wasn't lucky enough to eat just that.
Apparently, Ross (David Schwimmer) had eaten his entire plate of trifle and proceeded to spit it out when the camera was cut. LeBlanc, who had been looking the other way and didn't see Schwimmer discard his portion, scraped it onto his own plate and ate it when the cameras started rolling again. If given the choice, in this instance I think I'd choose the meat trifle.
